Sapphic Sitcom Just Roommates Marks Directoral Debut for Content Creator Mak Ingemi
Content creator Mak Ingemi is set to make her directorial debut with the sapphic sitcom Just Roommates, produced by Pool Girl Studios and filmed in Ingemi's hometown of Springfield, Missouri. The eight-episode comedy follows Quinn, a "baby gay" from Kansas, navigating queer life in Los Angeles. Pilot production begins fall 2026.
